Resources
I recommend you read through my Study Guide first to know how to use these resources, but here is a collection of resources I have made which are helpful for Section 3:
- Question Tracker. This was in the Study Guide, but if you missed it, my top advice is to track absolutely everything and this is a document that helps you do so. Download here.
- Content Checklist. You should know I suggest using the ACER practice material to guide what to study and learn how you will need to apply it, but I appreciate it can feel more comfortable to have at least some understanding of the background, so I made a checklist with everything I consider absolutely essential. Download here.
- Maths E-Book. I am honestly so proud of this. It's a 53-page e-book which assumes you have not done maths since high school and not only gives you all of the skills and processes required for Section 3 but builds up your mathematical understanding too. Has heaps of detailed explanations, practice questions, and worked solutions. Download here.
- Section 3 Crash Course. A comprehensive review of the most high yield maths and science content required for Section 3, as well as how you will need to apply these concepts with relevant ACER practice problem worked solutions. Read more here.
- Maths Skills Quizlet. I see so many people learn a process just to not practice it and forget it a week later. Do not be this person. Here's a small deck of maths flashcards to practice, but you can also use the questions in the Maths E-Book. View flashcards.
- Bootcamp. I run a live intensive reasoning bootcamp once per sitting. This is the place to go if you struggle working out what the question is asking and drawing conclusions from information. Over two weeks we cover deductive, inductive, abstract, spatial, numerical, and mechanistic reasoning. Read more here.
- Practice Exam. So many people are begging for questions which represent the exam... and that's why I made a full length exam. Feedback I have got is that this is awesome but harder than the real thing! Read more here.
- Q&A Recordings. I ran a community on a different platform previously and have a bunch of those recordings available. They're on a range of topics from getting started to applying skills. Watch here.
